This workshop presents 2026 preliminary findings from Beyond the Pill: Understanding Long-Acting ART and Long-Acting PrEP Uptake among Black Women, a multi-site study in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Louisville, Kentucky, supported by Gilead Sciences. The session examines social and structural factors influencing awareness and uptake of long-acting HIV prevention and treatment options among cisgender and transgender Black women.
