Applications for Participant Support are now closed
Deadline: Monday, June 1, 2026
2026 USCHA Participant Support
The United States Conference on HIV/AIDS (USCHA) currently offers two attendee support options.
Due to funding limitations, we cannot offer support to all those who apply. Also, please note that the number of applications we receive exceeds the number of support packages that we are able to offer. Those who have not received USCHA support in the recent past, and who offer a compelling narrative, detailing how the knowledge and information gained at USCHA will benefit their professional and/or personal growth, and enhance job performance, will be viewed more favorably. Support packages are not transferrable.
Support Categories
USCHA provides a limited number of participant support packages. While we invite all employees, directors, and volunteers who meet the above criteria to submit an application, only one support package per agency will be awarded. Support packages are awarded according to the answers provided in the application, financial need, geographical distribution, and the populations served.
Note: You can only apply for one participant support category and the support package is not transferrable.
Support Categories and Benefits
Option A
- One (1) USCHA Registration ONLY
Option B
- One (1) USCHA registration
- Four (4) nights of accommodation at the conference hotel (room and tax only), and;
- A $100 gift card (travel subsidy)
Recipients who qualify for the Option B package will receive the $100 gift card onsite.
NMAC will make a hotel reservation for each awardee of an Option B package for four nights, arriving on September 16, 2026 and departing on September 20, 2026.
Any additional nights to the reservation must be requested in writing (email) and paid for by the awardee.
Upon check-in at the hotel, the awardee will need to provide a credit card for additional expenses. Special arrangements may be considered for those awardees unable to provide a credit card guarantee and this will be communicated to awardees directly. Room service and other charges will not be incurred by NMAC. Those without a credit card will be subject to hotel policy and they will not be able to apply purchases to the room.
Participants are required to present a valid credit card at hotel check‑in. NMAC will not assume responsibility for room deposits or any additional charges assessed at check‑in or check‑out.
Support Selection Criteria
- In our commitment to ensuring opportunity, we will prioritize applicants who have never received a support package to USCHA.
