The United States Conference on HIV/AIDS (USCHA 2026) is the nation’s largest convener of community, workforce, and frontline service providers, government, policymakers, and the healthcare industry across the HIV field. Themed United and Unbreakable: The HIV Movement at 45, this year’s conference marks both the 45th anniversary of the first reported cases of AIDS and the 30th anniversary of USCHA. Hosted by NMAC in Anaheim, California, the conference brings together more than 2,000 health professionals, community leaders, advocates, and people living with HIV to strengthen the movement, advance health equity, and drive meaningful change in HIV prevention, treatment, and care.

Through plenaries, skill-building workshops, institutes, and community-centered dialogue, USCHA 2026 will explore the structural and social determinants shaping the HIV epidemic, elevate emerging science and policy, and equip participants with practical tools and cross-sector partnerships to advance equitable HIV programs and services across the country.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians, pharmacists, nurse practitioners/physician assistants (NPs/PAs), nurses, other healthcare professionals (HCPs), and non-healthcare professionals who care for patients with HIV or are involved in HIV prevention, care, or public health programs.

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

Apply whole-person and systems-thinking frameworks to improve HIV prevention, treatment, and care delivery in clinical and community settings
Implement differentiated and culturally responsive HIV prevention and care strategies that address structural and social determinants of health
Integrate interdisciplinary and community-centered workforce models (e.g., community health workers, behavioral health professionals, pharmacists) into HIV programs and services
Translate emerging science, policy updates, and community-driven innovations into practical, scalable clinical and public health practice

Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Partners for Advancing Clinical Education is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit.
