
Angela Brown is a community leader, facilitator, and curriculum writer with extensive experience in community engagement, group facilitation, and leadership development. As a GLOW Facilitator, she brings her deep expertise and passion for education to empower women living with and affected by HIV through connection, knowledge, and collective growth.
Angela played a vital role in the previous version of GLOW, contributing to its early curriculum design and helping lay the foundation for what the program has become today. In the new GLOW, she continues to build on that legacy, bringing her years of experience, wisdom, and heart as a respected leader in the community.
Throughout her career, Angela has been recognized with multiple honors, including the Russian Bayard Award, the Heroes Award, and the James Davis Award, celebrating her outstanding service and leadership in HIV advocacy and community empowerment.
Guided by her belief that “when women work together, they can accomplish anything,” Angela remains dedicated to creating safe, affirming spaces where women can learn, lead, and thrive together.
