By integrating our policy and communications efforts during this time of political flux, we have decided to effectively engage our policymakers across the aisle in Washington, and then transcend that value proposition to our communities via our digital platforms.

Informally called NMAC’s HIV Situation Room, visioned by Paul Kawata, and led by Harold Phillips, our Policy and Communications divisions will jointly support the three areas outlined by Harold in his February 4 newsletter

(1) Communications and Information Sharing,

(2) Engagements to Protect and Preserve HIV Funding

(3) Committing to the Essential Work.

We hope these messages leave you feeling more informed, and give you a new perspective to prepare for inevitable shifts in policy.
