United States Conference on AIDS

The mission of the United States Conference on AIDS is to increase the strength and diversity of the community-based response to the AIDS epidemic through education, training, new partnerships, collaboration and networking. It is the largest AIDS-related gathering in the U.S., bringing together over 3,000 workers from all fronts of the HIV/AIDS epidemic--from case managers and physicians, to public health workers and advocates, to people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWH/As) and policymakers--to build national support networks, exchange the latest information and learn cutting-edge tools to address the challenges of HIV/AIDS.

2012 United States Conference on AIDS

NMAC will host the 16th annual United States Conference on AIDS (USCA) in Las Vegas, NV.  2012 USCA coincides with NMAC's 25th anniversary and to mark this occassion, we are returning to where it all began.  In 1986, a group of leaders representing various communities of color met in a trailer behind the Circus Circus hotel in Las Vegas to discuss the epidemic's impact on minorities.  This meeting spurred the official formation of NMAC in 1987.
