Linking and Integrating Networks for Collaboration (LINC)

Under the theme, “Leading Successful Planning Groups,” the National Minority AIDS (NMAC) is offering this unique opportunity for you to enhance and gain knowledge, skills and expertise in HIV Prevention Planning Groups.

The Division of Community Advancement and Leadership Strategies (DCALS) has developed this exceptional Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) program primarily for Health Departments and HIV Prevention Planning Groups titled: Linking and Integrating Networks for Collaboration (LINC).

Funded by the CDC, this program develops and enhances skills in identifying, assessing, tailoring and adapting programmatic activities for HDs and CPGs to expand the organizational infrastructure of CBO’s and promote collaborative networks within the community. Through individualized CBA and training, LINC offers assistance in a variety of topic areas.

We are hosting a series of regional trainings throughout the U.S. to increase the leadership capacity of health departments and the HIV prevention planning group members. We are currently taking applications for the following regions:

Nashville, Tennessee – February 16, 2012 - (deadline 2/10/12)
Philadelphia, PA – March 16, 2012 - (deadline 3/9/12)
San Francisco, CA – March 29-30, 2012 - (deadline 3/23/12)
