NMAC is proud to announce the availability of several new HIV/AIDS resources on the website. The first is a powerpoint presentation entitled, Understanding HIV/AIDS. This educational tool can help your organization talk to its clients, patients, and staff about HIV.
The next is the Special Issues in HIV Care Breakfast Seminar, presented at the 2007 United States Conference on AIDS, through an educational grant from Merck & Co., Inc. This seminar explores the specific healthcare needs of several groups and outlines disease-, epidemiology-, and population-specific treatment strategies to optimize patient outcomes.
The last is an Online Resource Library with links to 25 official HIV/AIDS agencies and organizations, such as the Centers for Dissease Control and Prevention, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the Food and Drug Administration, the Office for Civil Rights and many more! Each link will redirect you to that agency's HIV/AIDS information.
