HIV/AIDS Stigma and Access to Care: Women of Color
This two-day training examines the role HIV/AIDS-related stigma plays in delaying HIV testing, non-disclosure of sero-positive status, and postponing entry into HIV/AIDS care. This training specifically explores the dramatic and disproportionate impact that HIV/AIDS stigma has on women of color and looks at the challenges women face and strategies to overcome these challenges.
